Project Brief

A full-stack website and content management platform built for a maternity hospital, combining a warm, trust-focused public site with a complete admin dashboard for managing doctors, services, appointments, and patient communication — without touching a line of code.

The Challenge

Zainab Hospital & Maternity Home needed more than a brochure website. Patients had no way to see doctor availability or book appointments online, the hospital had no system for managing incoming inquiries, and every content update — a new doctor, a new service, a change in hours — required a developer. The hospital also lacked a way for patients to check on a submitted appointment without calling in.

The Solution

We built a custom Next.js platform with a MongoDB-backed admin panel giving hospital staff full control over the site's content: doctors (with photo uploads via Cloudinary), services, testimonials, homepage stats, and a CEO message section. On top of that, we designed a multi-step appointment booking flow that filters available doctors by the service a patient selects, a public 'Track Appointment' page where patients can check their booking status using a reference number — no login required — and an Excel export tool so staff can pull appointment data for offline use. The admin panel itself is secured with session-based authentication, a 12-hour auto-logout, and OTP-verified password changes sent to the admin's email.

Results & Impact

The hospital now runs its entire public-facing content — doctors, services, testimonials, stats, and its CEO message — from a single dashboard, with every change reflected on the live site instantly. Patients can book an appointment, receive a reference number, and check its status anytime without calling the front desk, while staff get email notifications and a searchable, exportable appointment log the moment a request comes in.
